Surprise!

Hi friends! I suppose I should get right to it.....Donald and I are so excited to announce that we're expecting! Yes, yes, God decided that we should be someone's parents---crazy, right?! All jokes aside, we are so happy/terrified/nervous to do this together.  Our little bundle of joy is due December 21, 2016.

Weeks?  I'm 12 weeks along and thankful that the first trimester is coming to a conclusion :)

Symptoms? No morning sickness but, nausea is a constant plague.  And although the little one is itty bitty, I'm already getting up to pee, one cue, every morning at 4AM. (Prep for sleepless nights with baby?)  Exercising is a thing of the past and napping has become a personal sport.  First trimester exhaustion is a real thing and I'm eager to feel more like myself again.

Cravings? Give me pizza or cheeseburgers and I'm a happy preggo.  My hunger no longer creeps up on me and skipping meals is not an option.

Mood? Amazement.  I feel like this is all one big science experiment and I am just in awe.

March was a busy month! Here are a few snapshots from our adventures the past few weeks...

Thankful for the opportunity to welcome this group of ladies into our home. Grace, Ms. Peggy, Nicole and Joy will always hold such a special place in my heart.  Loved celebrating Delilah's nuptials with this group.

      

Easter weekend we celebrated the Resurrection and the dedication of our newest god daughter, Sydney.  She's absolutely precious and we were so honored that her parents chose us for this special role in her life.  We love you, little one!

Welcome to the Allen Abode! Honestly, this is something that I have been meaning to get around to for quite some time.  So many of my family and friends live in other places and I wanted to give them a glimpse into this journey of marriage that we have embarked on together.  

Be forewarned, we have no idea what we're doing---just trusting God and loving on each other as hard as we can. <3
